Abstract
Tanaman tebu adalah salah satu tanaman perkebunan yang penting, karena sumber bahan utama pembuatan gula. Dalam proses produksi, hama penggerek tebu merupakan hama yang paling penting pada tanaman tebu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat parasitasi parasitoid telur Trichogramma sp., untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis parasitoid yang memarasit hama penggerek tebu, dan mengetahui intensitas serangan hama penggerek tebu. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2021 di lahan tebu milik PT. PG Gorontalo yang terletak di Kecamatan Tolangohula, Kabupaten Gorontalo dan kemudian dilanjutkan di Laboratorium Hama dan Penyakit Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini penggunakan metode eksplorasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel telur penggerek tebu dilakukan pada umur tanaman 6-11 minggu setelah tanam (MST) dan 16-19 MST (dengan pelepasan). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, persentase parasitasi parasitoid telur pada umur 6 MST dan 7 MST (tanpa pelepasan) mencapai 94.69% dan 96.10%, sedangkan pada 8 MST, 9 MST, 10 MST, 11 MST, 16 MST, 17 MST, 18 MST, 19 MST masing-masing mengcapai 97.09%, 94.93%, 93.11%, 95.45%, 96.42%,98.78%, 98.06%, 94.27%. Parasitoid yang menyerang telur hama penggerek tebu ada 2 jenis yaitu Trichogramma sp. dan Telenomus sp. Intensitas serangan hama penggerek tebu tertinggi pada umur tanaman 6 MST yaitu sebesar 25%. This research was conducted from July to October 2021 on a sugarcane plantation owned by PT. PG Gorontalo which is located in Tolangohula Sub-district, Gorontalo Regency, and then continued with observations at the Pest and Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, State University of Gorontalo. This research used an exploratory method. Egg sampling was conducted at plants aged 6 WAP, 7 WAP (without release), 8 WAP, 9 WAP, 10 WAP, 11 WAP, 16 WAP, 17 WAP, 18 WAP, 19 WAP (with release). The results showed that the percentage of parasitization at the age of 6 WAP and 7 WAP (without release) reached 94.69% and 96.10%, respectively, while at 8 WAP, 9 WAP, 10 WAP, 11 WAP, 16 WAP, 17 WAP, 18 WAP, 19 WAP reached 97,09%, 94.93%, 93.11%, 95.45%, 96.42% , 98.78%, 98.06%, 94.27% respectively. 2 types of parasitoids attacked sugarcane borer eggs, namely Trichogramma sp. and Telenomus sp. The highest intensity of the sugarcane borer attack occurred at the age of 6 WAP.
