Abstract
ABSTRAK Mustapa M. Kasim. 2018. Persentase Karkas Sapi Bali Jantan Yang Diberi Silase Ransum Komplit Berbasis Jerami Jagung (Zea mays) dan Daun Gamal (Gliricidia sepium). Skripsi Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing Utama : Muhammad Sayuti dan Pembimbing Pendamping : Nibras K Laya Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase karkas Sapi Bali jantan yang diberi silase ransum komplit berbasis jerami jagung (Zea mays) dan daun gamal (Gliricidia sepium). Jumlah Sapi Bali jantan yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor. Metode digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) perlakuan dan 3 (tiga) kelompok dengan 3 (tiga) ulangan. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan silase ransum komplit berbasis jerami jagung dan daun gamal yang diberi pada Sapi Bali jantan yang dipelihara secara intensif memiliki nilai rataan bobot potong berkisar antara 180.3321.20-18726.06 kg, persentase karkas berkisar antara 48.263.05-51.180.50 % dan luas urat daging mata rusuk berkisar antara 59.675.03-62.676.03 cm2. Pemberian silase ransum komplit berbasis jerami jagung (Zea mays) dan daun gamal (Gliricidia sepium) dengan komposisi berbeda pada Sapi Bali jantan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) terhadap bobot potong, persentase karkas dan luas urat daging mata rusuk. Namun kelompok bobot badan Sapi Bali jantan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P>0.01) terhadap bobot potong dan luas urat daging mata rusuk. The research aimed to investigate the percentage of a carcass of male Bali catte given complete ration silage based on corn (Zea mays) straw, and gamal (Gliricidia sepium) leaves. It involed 12 Bali cattle and applied a randomized block design method that treatment of complete ration silage based on corn sraw and gamal leaves given to male Bali cattle, grown intensively, had average slaughter weight for approximately 180.3321.20 - 18726.06 kg. percentage of the carcass was about 48.263.05 - 51.180.50% and loin eye area was about 59.675.03 - 62.676.03 cm2. Distribution of complete ration silage based on corn (Zea mays) straw and gamal leaves with a varied composition to male Bali cattle did not have a significan effect (P>0.05) on slaughter weigh, percentage of carcass and loin eye area. However, body weight group of male Bali cattle had a significan effect (P>0.01) on slaughter weigh and loin eye area.
