Abstract
ABSTRAK
MARSELA POLAMOLO, 2018. Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Low Back Pain (LBP) pada Penjahit di Kompleks Pasar Sentral Kota Gorontalo. Sebanyak 90% kasus nyeri punggung bukan disebabkan oleh kelainan organik, melainkan oleh kesalahan posisi tubuh dalam bekerja. Masa kerja, jam kerja, umur, dan posisi duduk merupakan suatu hal perlu di perhatikan dalam suatu pekerja industri di bidang jahit. Rumusan masalah yaitu faktor-faktor apakah yang mempengaruhi kejadian Low Back Pain (LBP) pada Penjahit di Kompleks Pasar Sentral Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian Low Back Pain (LBP) pada Penjahit di Kompleks Pasar Sentral Kota Gorontalo.
Penelitian berjenis observasional Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dari Populasi seluruh penjahit yang ada di Kompleks Pasar Sentral Kota Gorontalo yang berjumlah 35 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji Statistik Chi-Square ( 0,05).
Hasil Penelitian: Pada penjahit di kompleks pasar sentral Kota Gorontalo yang mengalami Low Back Pain (LBP) (34,3%), sebagian besar berusia 4 tahun (62,9%), lama bekerja >8 jam/hari (62,9%) dan posisi duduk baik (60,0%). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara usia (�2 hitung 16,032 dan � 0,000), lama bekerja (�2 hitung 6,492 dan � 0,013), dan posisi duduk (�2 hitung 5,411 dan � 0,031) terhadap kejadian Low Back Pain, sementara Masa kerja (�2 hitung 0,114 dan � 1,000) tidak berpengaruh terhadap kejadian Low Back Pain pada Penjahit. Disarakan bagi penjahit kiranya dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja sehingga dapat membentuk perilaku yang baik dalam menjaga kesehatan dan keselamatan selama kerja.

As many as 90% of back pain cases are not caused by organic abnormalities, but by the wrong body position in work. Working period, working hours, age, and sitting position is a matter of concern in an industrial worker in the term of sewing. The problem statement of this research is what factors affect the occurrence of Low Back Pain (LBP) on Tailor in the Central Market Area of Gorontalo City. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that influence the occurrence of Low Back Pain (LBP) on Tailor in the site area.
This analytic observational study with Cross-Sectional Study approach involved the entire tailor population in the Central City Municipal Town Area of Gorontalo, amounting to 35 people through a sampling technique. The data were analyzed by Chi-Square statistical test ( 0,05).
Results: The tailors who suffered of Low Back Pain (LBP) in the Central City Market Area in Gorontalo City were (34.3%), mostly 4 years (62, 9%), work duration> 8 hours / day (62.9%) and good sitting position (60.0%). There was a significant influence between age (2 count of 16,032 and 0,000), duration of work (2 count of 6,492 and 0,013), and sitting position (2 was calculated 5,411 and 0,031) on the occurrence of Low Back Pain, while Working Period (2 0.114 and 1,000) did not affect the occurrence of Low Back Pain in Tailor. Thus, it is advisable for tailors to improve knowledge about occupational health and safety so as to shape good behavior in maintaining health and safety during the work.
