Skripsi adalah karya ilmiah yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa program Strata Satu (S1) yang membahas topik atau bidang tertentu berdasarkan kajian pustaka yang ditulis oleh para ahli, hasil
penelitian lapangan, atau hasil pengembangan. Dalam proses pengerjaan skripsi mahasiswa mempunyai faktor yang mempengaruhinya yang bisa menjadi faktor pendukung atau penghambat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor
apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam penyelesaian penulisan skripsi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan
kuantitatif dengan sampel mahasiswa peminatan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja sebanyak 62 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data univariat bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran atau distribusi responden pada variabel yang diteliti.
Hasil penelitian untuk faktor motivasi dalam kategori baik yaitu sebanyak sebanyak 55 responden (88,7%), faktor fasilitas dalam kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 43 responden (69,4%), faktor kemampuan menulis dalam kategori kurang baik sebanyak 42 responden (67,7%) dan faktor keluarga dalam kategori
kurang baik sebanyak 39 responden (62,9%).
Simpulan penelitian bahwa ada beberapa aspek yang menjadi faktor pendukung mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian penulisan skripsi mahasiswa peminatan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja yaitu faktor motivasi dan fasilitas yang memadai. Beberapa aspek yang menjadi faktor penghambat dalam penyelesaian penulisan skripsi mahasiswa mahasiswa peminatan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja yaitu faktor kemampuan menulis dan faktor keluarga.

Factors in Completing Undergraduate Thesis Writing of Students Specializing
in Occupational Safety and Health, Department of Public Health. The Principal

Undergraduate thesis is a scientific work written by an undergraduate program
(S1) student that discusses a particular topic or field based on a literature review
written by experts, the results of field research, or the results of development
research. In the process of the undergraduate thesis writing, students have factors that
influence it, both supporting and inhibiting factors. This study aims to know the
supporting and inhibiting factors in the completion of undergraduate thesis writing.
This is a descriptive qualitative study, while the sample is students
specializing in Occupational Health and Safety with as many as 62 respondents. The
data collection technique uses a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique
uses univariate data analysis to see the description or distribution of respondents on
the variables studied.
The finding shows that the motivational factor is in the good category for 55
respondents (88.7%), the facility factor is in the good category for 43 respondents
(69.4%), and the writing skill factor is in the less good category for 42 respondents
(67.7%), and family factor is in the less good category for 39 respondents (62.9%).
Therefore, it is concluded that there are several supporting factors for students
in completing the undergraduate thesis writing, including motivational factors and
adequate facility. Meanwhile, there are several aspects of inhibiting factors
completing the undergraduate thesis writing, including the writing skill factor and
family factor.
