Yesintha A. Mohama, 811418176. Pengaruh Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Tingkat Kemandirian Personal Hygiene Anak Tunagrahita Di SLB Negeri Poyowa Besar. Skripsi. Anak tunagahita mempunyai keterlambatan serta keterbatasan dalam semua aspek perkembangan sehingga mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam apapun termasuk mengurus diri sendiri serta cenderung memiliki ketergantungan dengan lingkungan terutama pada orangtua dan saudara-saudaranya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis adanya pengaruh dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kemandirian personal hygiene pada anak-anak tunagrahita di SLB Negeri Poyowa Besar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 34 responden. Lokasi pengambilan sampel dilakukan di SLB Negeri Poyowa Besar Kota Kotamobagu.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 34 responden, orang tua terbanyak Ibu yaitu 32 orang, rata-rata umur responden 35-44 tahun sebanyak 13 orang, pendidikan terbanyak responden pada SMA/Sederajat 26 orang, pekerjaan terbanyak responden adalah IRT yaitu 22 orang. Hasil analisis uji Rank Spearman����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s didapatkan nilai p 0,001 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima artinya ada pengaruh antara dukungan keluarga terhadap tingkat personal hygiene anak tunagrahita di SLB Negeri Poyowa Besar dengan nilai r = 0,543 yang berarti ada pada keterkaitan sedang.
Untuk sekolah agar memberikan waktu yang lebih untuk orang tua dalam rangka pendampingan anak, karena pada dasarnya orang tua lebih mengerti akan karakter anaknya. Atau antara orang tua dan anak ada hubungan emosional yang sangat erat.

Children with mental retardation have delays and limitations in all aspects
of development, making it difficult for them to take care of themselves and to do
anything independently. They also have a tendency to be dependent on their
surroundings, particularly their parents and siblings. This study aims to analyze
the effect of family support on the level of personal hygiene independence of
children with mental retardation in Poyowa Besar State Special School (SLB).
This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The
sampling location was carried out at the Poyowa Bear State Spesial Scool (SLB)
in Kotamobagu City, and obtained 34 respondents.
The findings of this study showed that 32 out of the 34 respondents are
mothers, the average age of respondents is between 35 and 44 years, namely 13
respondents, the education of most of the respondents came from high
school/equivalent, namely 26 respondents, and the occupations of most
respondents were housewives namely 27 respondents. The results of the
Spearman's Rank test analysis obtained a p value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that
Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect between family
support on the level of personal hygiene independence on children with mental
retardation in Poyowa Besar State Special School (SLB) with a value of r= 0.543
in a moderate relationship category.
Therefore, it is expected that the schools will be able to allow parents more time to accompany their children as they generally know more about their personalities and they have a very close emotional bond with them.
