Abstract
ABSTRAK Dewi Sartika A. Usman, 2012. “Uji Daya Hambat Sari Buah Labu Air (Lagenria siceria) Terhadap Bakteri Salmonella Thyposa” dengan Metode Difusi Lempeng Agar (Difusi Cakram). Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Program Ahli Madya Farmasi, Jurusan Farmasi, Fakultas Ilmu-ilmu Kesehatan dan Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing 1 : Hamsidar Hasan,S.Si.,M.Si.,Apt dan Pembimbing 2 : Madania,S.Farm.,M.Sc.,Apt Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya daya hambat sari labu air terhadap bakteri Salmonella tyhposa dan untuk mengetahui berapa besar daya hambat sari labu air terhadap bakteri Salmonella tyhposa. Metode yang digunakan untuk uji daya hambat ini adalah metode difusi lempeng agar (difusi cakram) menggunakan sari buah labu air dengan konsentrasi 40%, 60%, 80% dan kontrol aquadest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sari buah labu air dengan konsentrasi 40%, 60%, 80% dan kontrol aquadest tidak menghasilkan zona hambatan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sari buah labu air tidak dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Salmonella thyposa. Kata kunci : Sari, buah labu air, daya hambat, Salmonella thyposa ? ABSTRACT Dewi Sartika A. The method was used by testing the inhibition power which is a plate diffusion method in order (diffusion discs) using the extract with different concentration of 40%, 60%, 80% and controls aquadest. The result showed that the cernel of fruit labu air with concentration of 40%, 60%, 80% and controls aquadest not produced a inhibition zone. In conclusion that cernel of fruit labu air can not inhibit the growth of Salmonella thyposa. Key words : Cernel, Fruit of labu air, inhibition effect, Salmonella thyposa
