Abstract
ABSTRAK Linda Suleman. 2015. Uji Antimikroba Ekstrak Cacing Tanah (Lumbricus Rubellus) Terhadap Bakteri. Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Jurusan Farmasi, Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Dan Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing : (1) Dr. Widy Susanti Abdulkadir S.Si.,M.Si.,Apt (2) Moh Adam Mustapa, S.Si.,M.,Sc Cacing Tanah merupakan salah satu hewan yang dijadikan sebagai obat tradisional oleh masyarakat untuk penyakit tekanan darah rendah, tekanan darah tinggi, kencing manis, tipus, rematik, demam tinggi, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktifitas antimikroba ekstrak cacing tanah (Lumbricus Rubellus) terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Eshericia coli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan metode (difusi cakram). Metode tersebut dilakukan dengan mengukur zona bening disekitar kertas cakram dengan konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 15% kontrol positif eritromisin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak cacing tanah dapat menghamabat bakteri Esherichia coli dan Staphylococcus aureus pada konsentrasi 15% dengan diameter daerah hambat masing-masing sebesar 17 mm menunjukkan respon penghambatan sedang dan 20 mm menunjukkan respon penghambatan kuat. Si., M. sc Soil worm is an animal that has been used by the society to traditionally treat hypotension or low blood pressure, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, typhoid, rheumatism, and high fever. This research aims at finding out the antimicrobial efficacy of the soil worm on Staphylococcus aureus bacterial and Esherichia coli bacterial. This method measure the clear zone surrounding the disk paper with the concentrate of 5%, 10%, and 15% 0f positive control erythromycin and negative control ethanol. This research reveals that soil worm extract could inhibit the Esherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacterial at the 15% concentrate with the inhibitory diameter of 17 mm showing slow inhibitory responds and 20 mm showing strong inhibitory respond.
