Abstract
ABSTRACT Lestari Yusuf, 2016. Bacterial Contamination Test in Isotonic Beverage which Spread in Gorontalo City. Adam Mustapa, S.Si., M.Sc., Co-Supervisor was Dewi Rahmawaty Moo, S.Farm., M.Sc., Apt. Isotonic beverage are one of the carbonated or non-carbonated soft beverage products which contain of sugar, citric acid and minerals. The SNI maximum limit in isotonic drink is 1x102 colonies/ml. this study aimed at calculating the total of bacteria in the isotonic drink in Gorontalo. The method that used in this research was pour plate with 3 sample of brand A, B, and C. the result of brand A showed that the bacterial contamination was 8,8x104, the sample with brand B was contaminated with bacteria for 3,3x103, and brand C was contaminated with bacteria for 2,6x104. Minuman Isotonik adalah salah satu produk minuman ringan karbonasi atau non karbonasi untuk meningkatkan kebugaran, yang mengandung gula, asam sitrat dan mineral. Batas maksimum yang ditetapkan SNI pada minuman isotonik 1x102 koloni/ml, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung total bakteri pada minuman isotonik yang beredar di Kota Gorontalo, metode yang digunakan yaitu metode pour plate dengan menggunakan 3 sampel dengan merek A, B, dan C. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sampel merek A tercemar bakteri sebanyak 8,8 x 104, sampel merek B tercemar bakteri sebanyak 3,3 x 103 dan sampel merek C tercemar bakteri sebanyak 2,6 x 104.
