Jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia S.) adalah salah satu tanaman herba yang kaya akan manfaatnya untuk kesehatan. Salah satu manfaat jeruk nipis adalah untuk mencegah kerusakan pada kulit serta mencegah proses penuaan dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi PVA terhadap kestabilan fisik masker gel air perasan jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia S.). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium, dimana diawali dengan melakukan optimasi basis. Dalam optimasi basis untuk mendapatkan formula basis yang baik dibuat 3 formula yang memvariasikan bahan gelling agent. Selanjutnya dibuat Formula (F1), (F2) dan (F3) masker gel air perasan jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia S.) dengan konsentrasi PVA yang berbeda-beda, dimana F1 dengan konsentrasi 8%, F2 dengan konsentrasi 10% dan F3 dengan konsentrasi 12%. Semua formula dievaluasi fisik meliputi uji organoleptik, uji viskositas, uji pH serta uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi PVA dapat berpengaruh terhadap kestabilan fisik sediaan seperti viskositas dan bentuk sediaan dari masker gel peel-off perasan jeruk nipis (citrus aurantifolia S.) yang menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi PVA 10% (sediaan B) merupakan sediaan yang stabil selama waktu penyimpanan.

Lime (Citrus aurantifolia S.) is a herbaceous plant that is rich in health benefits. One of the benefits of lemon is to prevent damage to the skin and prevent premature aging. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of concentration on the physical stability of PVA gel mask lemon juice (Citrus aurantifolia S.). This study is an experimental research laboratory, which begins with a base optimization. In the optimization base to get a good base formula made 3 formulas that vary the gelling agent material. Subsequently made Formula (F1), (F2) and (F3) gel mask lemon juice (Citrus aurantifolia S.) with PVA concentrations varying, where F1 with a concentration of 8%, with a concentration of 10% F2 and F3 with a concentration 12%. All formulas are evaluated include the physical organoleptic test, viscosity test, pH test and homogeneity test. The results showed that the concentration of PVA can affect the physical stability of the preparation such as viscosity and gel dosage form of peel-off mask lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia S.) which shows that the PVA concentration of 10% (preparation B) is a preparation that is stable during storage time.
