Abstract
ABSTRAK Nadila Alkatiri, 2018. Karya Tulis Ilmiah "Formulasi Dan Uji Aktivitas Anti Jamur (Candida albicans) Sediaan Shampo Gel Dari Ekstrak Rimpang Temulawak (Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb.) Menggunakan Viscolam Sebagai Gelling Agent". Program Studi D3-Farmasi Jurusan Farmasi Fakultas Olahraga dan Kesehatan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Dibimbing Oleh Dr. Widysusanti Abdul Kadir, S.Si., M.Si., Apt Sebagai Pembimbing I dan Madania, S.Farm., M.Sc., Apt Sebagai Pembimbing II. Temulawak diketahui mengandung senyawa kimia yang mempunyai keaktifan fisiologi, yaitu kurkuminoid dan minyak atsiri.. minyak atsiri pada rimpang temulawak yang digunakan untuk menghambat pertumbuhan Candida albicans mengandung siklo-isoren, mirsein, d-kamfer p-tolil metilkarboni, zat warna kurkumin, felandrena, turmerol dan pati. Penelitian pembuatan sediaan shampoo diawali dengan optimasi basis. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui formulasi sediaan shampo gel dan aktivitas ekstrak rimpang temulawak terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimental laboratorium. Evaluasi sediaan meliputi kestabilan fisik shampoo gel meliputi uji organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, viskositas, dan uji mikrobiologi. Pengujian mikrobiologi menggunakan ketokonazol sebagai pembanding montrol positif, basis sebagai kontrol negative. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rimpang temulawak dapat diformulasikan sebagai shampo gel dan menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans dengan diameter zona hambat formula yaitu 15 mm, kontrol positif 20 mm, kontrol negatif 0. Diantara kedua formula F2 merupakan formula yang memiliki zona hambat yang besar dan respon hambatan yang kuat. Kata kunci : Temulawak, Shampo Gel, Candida albicans ABSTRACT Nadila Al-katiri. 2018. Curcuma (Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb.) is known to contain chemical compounds that has physiological activity, namely curcuminoid and essential oil. The essential oil of the curcuma rhizome (Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb.) which is used to inhibit the growth of Candida albicans contains cyclo-isoren, mirsein, d-camphor Methyl p-tolylcarbinol, natural dye ofcurcumin, phellandrene, turmerol and starch. This research aims to know the formulation of curcuma (Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb.) rhizome extract into gel shampoo and to know the extract activity against the fungus Candida albicans growth. This research used laboratory experimental research design.The dosage evaluation included the physical stability of the gel shampoo including organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, viscosity test and microbiological test. Microbiological testing used ketoconazole as the positive control and base as the negative control. The results show that the rhizome of curcuma (Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb.) extract can be formulated into gel shampoo and it has ability to inhibit the growth of fungus Candida albicans with inhibitory zone diameter of formula of 15 mm, positive control of 20 mm, negative control 0. Among the two formulas, the F2 is the formula that has the largest inhibition zone and the strongest resistance response. Keywords: Curcuma, Gel Shampoo, Fungus Candida albicans
