Tekanan darah tinggi (hipertensi) adalah suatu peningkatan tekanan darah di
dalam arteri. Secara umum, hipertensi merupakan suatu keadaan tanpa gejala,
dimana tekanan yang abnormal tinggi didalam arteri menyebabkan peningkatannya
resiko terhadap stroke, aneurisma, gagal jantung, serangan jantung dan kerusakann
ginjal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan obat antihipertensi
berdasarkan tepat pasien, tepat obat, tepat dosis, dan tepat aturan pakai, pada pasien hipertensi rawat jalan di Puskesmas Telaga Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten
Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian
cross secsional dan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif pada pasien penderita
hipertensi. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data sekunder yang diperolah dari
catatan pasien yang ada di Puskesmas Telaga. Data yang terkumpul kemudian di
nilai penggunaan obatnya berdasarkan pedoman JNC8 dan dari beberapa sumber
dan jurnal terpercaya yang kemudian dicatat, dikelompokkan dan dianalisis
menggunakan metode deskriptif dan hasilnya disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan
uraian penjelasan. Berdasarkan panduan JNC8 dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketepatan
pasien sebesar 100%, ketepatan obat sebesar 93% tepat obat dan 7% tidak tepat
obat, ketepatan dosis sebesar 100% dan ketepatan aturan pakai sebesar 100%.

High blood pressure (hypertension) is an increase in blood pressure in the arteries. In general, hypertension is an asymptomatic condition, where abnormally failure, heart attack, and kidney damage. This research aimed to evaluate the use of antihypertensive drugs based on the right patient, the right rule of use, the right drug, and the right dose in outpatient hypertension patients at Telaga Public Health Center, Telaga Sub-District, Gorontalo Regency. The Type of research used in this research was cross-sectional research and retrospective data obtained from patient records at Telaga Health Center. The data collected were then assessed for drug use based on the JNC8 guidelines and from several reliable sources and journals, which were then recorded, grouped, and analyzed using descriptive methods, and the results were presented in the form of tables and explanations. In accordance with the JNC8 guidelines, it was concluded that patient accuracy was 100% drug accuracy was 93% which was right and 7% was not right, dose accuracy was 100% and accuracy of rules of consumption was 100%.
