Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP Negeri 8 Kota Gorontalo dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII2 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Gorontalo dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang, putri berjumlah 5 orang dan putra berjumlah 15 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan kegiatan siswa dan guru, serta evaluasi terhadap materi yang di ajarkan pada setiap siklus kemudian dianalisis baik secara kualitatif maupun secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui terjadi peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan melakukan roll depan yakni: pada observasi awal rata-rata kemampuan melakukan roll depan sebesar 54.13%. Setelah diadakan tindakan siklus I terjadi peningkatan 67.44% dan pada tindakan siklus II diperoleh hasil capaian sebesar 80.74%. Abstract Classroom action research (PTK) was held at the school SMP Negeri 8 Gorontalo with research subjects are VII2 grade students of SMPN 8 Gorontalo city by the number of students 20 people, daughter and son are 5 people amounted to 15 people. Data were collected using observation sheet activities of students and teachers, as well as an evaluation of the material taught in each cycle were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the analysis of the data found an increase in the average ability to roll forward are: the average initial observation ability to roll forward by 54.13%. Having held the first cycle measures increased 67.44% and in the second cycle of the achievements obtained result of 80.74%.
