Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya peningkatan lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada siswa kelas VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Kabupaten Bonebolango.Untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut digunakan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction di lakukan dengan cara guru menyampaikan tujuan dan mempersiapkan siswa, mempraktekan, membimbing pelatihan, mengecek pemahaman, memberi kesempatan latihan lanjutan,dalam mempelajari lompat jauh gaya jongkok. Dari tahap awalan, tahap persiapan, dan akhir gerakan.
Tujuanpenelitiantindakankelasiniadalahuntukmengetahuipeningkatanlompat jauh gaya jongkok dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction pada siswa kelas VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Kabupaten Bonebolango. Hipotesis tindakan yakni" jika model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction ini di terapkan maka peningkatan lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada siswa kelas VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Kabupaten Bonebolango akan meningkat". Indicator kinerja jika rata-rata terjadi peningkatan lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada siswa kelas VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Kabupaten Bonebolango mencapai klasifikasi nilai sebesar 80% maka penelitian ini selesai serta dinyatakan berhasil.
Pengambilan data di lakukan dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan kegiatan siswa dan guru, serta evaluasi atas materi yang di ajarkan pada setiap siklus kemudian data analisis baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui terjadi peningkatan rata-rata gaya jongkok yakni; pada observasi awal rata-rata kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan gaya jongkok sebesar 46,18%. Setelah di adakan tindakan siklus 1 terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20,95% menjadi 67,13% dan pada tindakan siklus 2 diperoleh hasil capaian sebesar 83,71% atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 16,58 dengan demikian rata-rata peningkatan dari obserfasi awal sampai pada siklus 2 sebesar 37,53% jadi hipotesis yang berbunyi" menggunakan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction maka peningkatan lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada siswa kelas VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Kabupaten Bonebolango meningkat" dan dapat diterima.
Jika model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction dilakukan dalam penelitian ini maka peningkatan lompat jauh gaya jongkok meningkat.

The problem in this research is still the low increase of long jump style of squatting on the students of class VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Bonebolango.In order to solve the problem used Explicit Instruction learning model is done by the teacher convey the purpose and prepare students, practice, guide training, check Understanding, giving further training opportunities, in learning the long jump style squats. From the prefix stage, the preparation stage, and the end of the movement.
The purpose of this class action research is to know the elevation of the squat style long jump by using the Explicit Instruction model of learning in the students of grade VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Bonebolango District. The action hypothesis is "if the Explicit Instruction model of learning is applied then the increase in long jump style squatting on grade VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Bonebolango students will increase". Indicator performance if the average increase in long jump style squat on the students of class VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Bonebolango regency reached the classification of values of 80% then this research is completed and declared successful.
Data collection is done by using observation sheets of student and teacher activities, and evaluation of the material that is taught on every cycle then the data analysis both quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the data analysis, it is known that there is an increase in the mean of squat style ie; On the initial observation the average ability of students in the style of squatting by 46.18%. After the action of cycle 1, there was an increase of 20.95% to 67.13% and in the second cycle action, the result was 83.71% or an increase of 16.58, thus the average increase from the initial obserfation to the cycle 2 by 37.53% so the hypothesis which reads "using Explicit Instruction model of learning hence increase in long jump style squatting on grade VIII.A SMPN 1 Suwawa Bonebolango increased" and acceptable.
If the Explicit Instruction model of learning is done in this study then the increase in the long jump style of squatting increases.
