Penelitian ini telah dilakukan selama 14 kali pertemuan, pertemuan pertama dilakukan tes awal sebelum memberikan perlakuan kemudian pertemuan ke 2 sampai dengan pertemuan ke 13 dilakukan perlakuan dan pertemuan terakhir dilakukan tes akhir. Penelitian dengan pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative tipe STAD terhadap keterampilan chest pass dalam permainan bola basket, merupakan sebuah penelitian eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa. Dari data yang diperoleh menunjukkan skor tertinggi 50 dan skor yang terendah 41.67. Setelah dilakukan analisis diperoleh nilai rata-rata 44.47 dan nilai varians sebesar 32.91 serta standar deviasi sebesar 5.74. Dari data yang diperoleh menunjukkan skor tertinggi 91.66 dan skor terendah 75. Setelah dilakukan analisis diperoleh skor rata-rata 85.31 sedangkan nilai varians sebesar 16.2 dan niai standar deviasi sebesar 4.02. Dari hasil perhitungan diatas di peroleh harga t_hitung = 41.70 dan t_tabel pada 0,05; dk = n- 1 (21 - 1 = 20) ditemukan harga 2.84 dengan demikian£- t£-_hitung lebih besar dari t_tabel ( t_hitung = 41.70 > t_tabel = 2.84). Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, terima H_0 jika t_hitung>t_tabel.
Dengan memperlihatkan hasil pengujian pada sebelum pelaksanaan eksperimen dan setelah pelaksanaan eksperimen menunjukkan adanya kesimpulan bahwa terjadi pengaruh yang signifikan antara skor tes awal sebelum perlakuan dan tes akhir setelah perlakuan terhadap keterampilan chest pass dalam permainan bola basket. Ini didasarkan pada analisis secara statistik diperoleh harga Thitung lebih besar dari Tdaftar harga thitung telah berada di dalam daerah penerimaan HA. Maka hipotesis dalam penelitian ini berbunyi "terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative tipe STAD terhadap keterampilan chest pass dalam permainan bola basket siswa kelas VIII3 SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa diterima.
Kata Kunci: Keterampilan chest pass (bola Basket) dan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe STAD.

This study has been conducted for 14 meetings, the first meeting conducted preliminary tests before giving treatment then the second meeting until the 13th meeting was done treatment and the last meeting conducted the final test. The research with the influence of STAD type cooperative learning model on chest pass skills in basketball game is an experimental research conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa. From the data obtained shows the highest score 50 and the lowest score 41.67. After the analysis, the average value is 44.47 and the variance value is 32.91 and the standard deviation is 5.74. From the data obtained shows the highest score of 91.66 and the lowest score 75. After the analysis obtained an average score of 85.31 while the value of variance of 16.2 and niai standard deviation of 4.02. From the above calculation results obtained price tcount = 41.70 and ttabel on 0.05; dk = n- 1 (21 - 1 = 20) found the price of 2.84 thus tcount is greater than ttable (tcount = 41.70> ttable = 2.84). Based on test criteria, accept H0 if tcount> ttable.
By showing the test results before the experiments and after the experiments, there is a conclusion that there is a significant effect between the initial test scores before the treatment and the final test after the treatment of chest pass skills in basketball games. This is based on statistical analysis obtained tcount price is greater than tcount price list has been inside HA acceptance area. Then the hypothesis in this study reads "there is influence of STAD type cooperative learning model to the skills of chest pass in the game of basketball student of class VIII3 SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa accepted.
