Abstract
ABSTRAK
Moh. Rizky Kaleya, Nim 831 414 114 "Pengaruh latihan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan shooting dalam permainan bola basket kelas VIII SMP N 1 Telaga". Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi, Jurusan Pendidikan Keolahragaan, Fakultas olahraga dan kesehatan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo dibawah bimbingan Drs. Ahmad Lamusu, S.Pd, M.Pd, M.Pd, dan Mirdayani Pauweni, S.Pd, M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh latihan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan shooting dalam permainan bola basket kelas VIII SMP N 1 Telaga. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yakni "Ada Pengaruh latihan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan shooting dalam permainan bola basket kelas VIII SMP N 1 Telaga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian eksperimen. Dengan desain terdiri atas 2 variabel penelitian yaitu Variabel X (latihan otot lengan) dengan Variabel Y (shooting dalam permainan bola basket), dengan prosedur penelitian "Pre Test (X), Treatmen (T), dan Post Test (X). Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh Siswa putra kelas VIII SMP N 1 Telaga yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian yang ditetapkan adalah keseluruhan dari populasi sebanyak 18 Siswa putra kelas VIII SMP N 1 Telaga yang diambil secara Total Sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah Uji t, dan Dari hasil pengujian hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan harga thitung sebesar 11.43. Sedangkan dari daftar distribusi diperoleh harga tdaftar atau t(0,995(17) = 2.90. Ternyata harga thitung telah berada di dalam daerah penerimaan HA. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa HA diterima dan tidak dapat menerima Ho. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan otot lengan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan shooting dalam permainan bola basket siswa putra kelas VIII SMP N 1 Telaga.

The study aimed at investigating the Influence of arm muscle exercise toward a shooting skill in basketball fame at the class of VIII in SMP N I Telaga. Research hypothesis states "there is an influence of arm muscle exercise towards shooting skill in a basketball game at the class of VIII in SMP N I Telaga. It applies experimental method. The research is designed with 2 variables: X Variables (Arm Muscle Exercise) and Y Variable (Shooting Skill in Basketball). Research procedures are Pre Test (XI), Treatment (T), and Post Test (X2). The population is all male students in the class of VIII in SMP N I Telaga amounted to 18 students. Samples are all members of the population that are 18 male students of the class of VIII, SMP N I Telaga selected through total sampling technique. Hypothesis verification is conducted by applying t-test. The pretest and posttest result obtains t count for 11.43, and from distribution table, t table or t (0.995(17) is obtained for 2.90. It ia found that t count is out of acceptance area of HA. Therefore, It can be concluded that HA is accepted and HO is rejected. It indicates that the arm muscle exercise can improve shooting skill of students in the basketball game at the class of VIII, SMP N I Telaga.
