Abstract

Nur Ayun R. Yusuf. 841409087. An Analysis on Factors Affecting Healing Process of Post Appendictomy Wound at Prof. Dr. Aloei Saboe hospital Gorontalo City. Skripsi, Department of Nursing, Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The principal supervisor was dr. Zuhriana K. Yusuf, M.Kes and the co supervisor was Vik Salamanja, S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes.
One of patient management on acute appendictis is surgery (appendiktomy). There are several problems appeared in the wound after surgery that will affect healing process. The research aimed to find out affecting factors in healing process of post appenditomy wound at RSUD Prof. dr. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City 2013.
The research applied analytic observational design by having cross sectional approach. Research population was all patients of post appendictomy in surgery room (G2) Prof. dr. Aloei Saboe hospital. Samples were amounted 38 respondents by applying accidental sampling. Data analysis was through chi-square test then determining dominant factors was through logistic regression testand wald significancy.
The result of statistical analysis by chi-square test showed that there were several effects such as age (p=0.004), IMT (p=0.000), smoking habit (p=0.029), nutrition (p=0.000), early mobilization (p=0.000) on healing process of post appendictomy wound at Prof. dr. Aloei Saboe hospital, city of Gorontalo 2013. Analysis on logistic regression test showed that dominant factors were nutrition of Wald significance 9.415.
To sum up, age, obesity, smoking habit, nutrition, and early mobilization affected healing process of wound. It is suggested to hospital officers to keep noticing of patients while mobilization is held based on the procedure in term of healing process on normal.

Salah satu penatalaksanaan pasien dengan appendicitis akut adalah pembedahan (appendiktomy). Ada beberapa masalah yang sering muncul pada luka pasca pembedahan yang akan mempengaruhi proses penyembuhan luka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penyembuhan luka post appendictomy di RSUD Prof. dr. Aloei Saboe Kota Gorontalo Tahun 2013.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah seluruh pasien post appendictomy di ruang bedah (G2) RSUD Prof. DR. H. Aloei Saboe Kota Gorontalo selama penelitian. Sampel berjumlah 38 responden dengan pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Analisis data dengan uji chi-square dan untuk menentukan faktor dominan digunakan uji regresi logistik dengan signifikansi Wald.
Hasil analisa statistik dengan uji chi-square menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh umur (p=0.004), IMT (p=0.000), kebiasaan merokok (p=0.029), nutrisi (p=0.000), dan mobilisasi dini (p=0.000) terhadap proses penyembuhan luka post appendictomy di RSUD Prof. Dr. Aloe Saboe Kota Gorontalo Tahun 2013 dan hasil analisa uji regresi logistik menunjukkan faktor yang paling dominan adalah nutrisi dengan siginifikansi Wald 9.415.
Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa umur, obesitas, kebiasaan merokok, nutrisi, dan mobilisasi dini mempengaruhi proses penyembuhan luka. Diharapkan petugas Rumah Sakit lebih memperhatikan nutrisi pasien dan mobilisasi dilaksanakan sesuai prosedur agar proses penyembuhan luka normal.
