Nurmeilan Bumulo. 941418069 2022. Efektivitas penelolaan sampah di Kota Gorontalo . Program S1 Admnistrasi Publik, Jurusan Administrasi Publik, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo dengan pembimbing I Dr. Yanti Aneta,S.Pd,M.Si, dan pembimbing II Dr. Rusli Isa, M.Si
Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Pengelolaan sampah serta Faktor-faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan efektivitas pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo, yang dikaji dari : 1) ketetapan sasaran, 2) sosialisasi, 3) pemantauan. Informan penelitian ini berjumlah 6(enam) orang yaitu Aparat Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Camat Kota Utara, dan masyarakat yang ada di Kecamatan Kota Utara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo, yang dilihat dari 1) ketetapan sasaran, 2) sosialisasi, 3) pemantauan telah dilakukan baik. Efektivitas pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo harus lebih ditingkatkan oleh masyarakat setempat bawasannya pengelolaan sampah belum efektiv karena biasanya sampah masih sering menumpuk karena lama diangkut hal inilah yang menjadi salah satu saran kepada pihak DLH agar kiranya hal ini bisa diseriusi.
Efektivitas dan pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo dalam penelitian ini menyimpulkan dari ketiga aspek bahwa ketepatan sasaran,sosialisasi, dan pemantauan dalam mengukur efektivitas pengelolaan sampah masih terdapat kekurangan yang menyebabkan belum efektivnya pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Kota Utara

ABSTRACT
The Effectiveness of Waste Management in Gorontalo City. Undergraduate Thesis. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of waste management in Kota Utara Sub-district, Gorontalo City, and the factors contribute to that achievement. These factors were studied from 3 stages, namely targeting, socialization, and monitoring. The informants of this research consisted of six informants, namely Environmental Service Apparatus, Kota Utara Sub-district Head, and the people in Kota Utara Sub-district. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results showed that the waste management in Kota Utara Sub-district, Gorontalo City, which was seen from the stage of targeting, socialization, and monitoring, had been implemented well. However, the local community should continue to enhance the effectiveness of waste management because the accumulation of waste as a result of extensive transit is what makes it ineffective. This is one of the researchers' suggestions to the DLH that should be followed up on.
Thus, it can be concluded that the accuracy of targeting, socialization, and monitoring in determining the effectiveness of waste management is still lacking, which results in ineffective waste management in Kota Utara Sub-district, Gorontalo City.
